What is this?The International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), is an annual competition for the world’s most talented chemistry students at the secondary school level. Nations around the world send a team of four students who are tested on their chemistry knowledge and skills in a five-hour laboratory practical exam and a five-hour written theoretical examination that are held on separate days with the practical examination usually being before the theoretical examination.What did I achieve?I achieved a silver medal, and placed 46th out of 330 participants from all over the globe.

The olympiad in 2023 had a total of 2 rounds, the first round comprised of short answer questions, while the second round comprised of much longer questions. The syllabus of SChO is the same as the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO).What did I achieve?I achieved a gold medal, and our school earned the award for best team.

What is this?International Chemistry Tournament (IChTo), is an annual chemistry tournament for high school students. Students work in a team of 6, solving 12 open-ended chemistry problems, with no set solution, and requires students to display their knowledge in chemistry and creative minds. Each round consists of the reporting team presenting their solution, the opposition team coming up with flaws in the report, a debate between the reporter and the opposer, and lastly the reviewing team reviewing the entire round. This competition also focuses on a lot on teamwork skills.What did my team achieve?Our team achieved second place. I achieved the best reporter, best solution for a problem and a personal bronze medal. My team achieved 2 more best solutions for problems and 2 more personal silver medals.

We performed our song, "We are The Youths" live, and had it professional recorded.
